Analyzer displays barometer information during measurement
The analyzer may display barometric pressure information during measurement. This article explains why this information is shown and how it affects measurement calculations.
Explanation
Divesoft analyzers use an internal barometric sensor to measure ambient pressure. This value is used to compensate and adjust gas measurement calculations.
Displaying barometric pressure during measurement is normal behavior and indicates that pressure compensation is active.
What to know
-
Barometric pressure is measured automatically and does not require manual adjustment.
-
Changes in altitude or atmospheric pressure may slightly influence calculated gas values.
-
The analyzer continuously updates pressure data to maintain measurement accuracy.
When to contact service
If the displayed barometric pressure value appears unrealistic or inconsistent with actual ambient conditions, or if measurement values seem incorrect despite proper calibration, please contact an authorized Divesoft Service Point for further diagnostics.
