Duplicated or Missing Dives

Fixing duplicate and missing dives downloaded through DivesoftApp or DivesoftCenter

Problem description:
Downloaded divelogs may appear duplicated or missing when downloaded directly using the DivesoftApp or DivesoftCenter.

Possible causes:

  • Alternating Liberty left and right sides when downloading divelogs can cause duplicated dive logs and/or duplicated log serial numbers.
  • Older Liberty FW (before 2.17.x).

Step-by-step troubleshooting:

  • Update to the latest Liberty firmware version. This resolves most log synchronization issues.
  • Assure that the Liberty head is fully powered on (both battery jumpers in) when downloading dive logs.
  • Delete previously imported dives in DivesoftCenter and re-download the full set.
  • Download logs in bulk using USB cable and upload them to Wentoes manually.

When to contact service: If dives remain duplicated or missing even after update and USB transfer, provide syslogs and contact Divesoft support for deeper analysis. Preferably using the DivesoftApp "Report Issue" feature.
