ERROR 3 - Weak oxygen sensor
ERROR 3 on startup is caused by oxygen sensor voltage being lower than 5mV
Possible causes:
- Oxygen sensor end of life
- Residual hypoxic mix in the measuring path
- Corrupted factory calibration
Step-by-step troubleshooting:
- Check oxygen sensor date of manufacture, if is the sensor older than 24 months consider replacing it.
- Try replacing the oxygen sensor with a new or known good one.
- If your last measured mixture was strongly hypoxic (close to 0% O2) flush the Analyzer with air, if necesary turn it off and back on.
- If your Analyzer HW version is 4.0 or earlier - or FW version is 2.29 then check the Internal Values - look for "O2 zero adjust" value, if plain zero, then a factory calibration is necessary - contact support for further instructions.
When to contact service: If ERROR 3 continues even with known good oxygen sensor, contact your closest Divesoft Service Point.
