Handset -Stuck Button(s)

Problem description:
The Liberty handset button can become stuck, causing error messages or leaving the handset in bootloader mode.

Possible causes:

• Debris or salt deposits obstructing button movement (common after saltwater dives).
• Internal button sensor failure (hardware fault requiring service).

Step-by-step troubleshooting:

• Press and release the button multiple times firmly but gently to try to free it.
• Rinse the handset thoroughly with fresh water, then dry it completely to remove salt deposits. Ensure the handset is fully dry before powering it on again.
• If the issue persists, try the Divesoft Liberty Handset Button Service Kit at home.
• If none of the above steps resolved the issue, please submit a new service request.
