Analyzer shows intermittent helium measurement or helium sensor error

Weak clicking sounds or intermittent helium readings may indicate a helium sensor electronics issue. Follow the steps below to verify the condition using Service Mode.

Possible causes

  • Faulty helium sensor electronics board

  • Internal connection issue

  • Water or humidity damage

What to try

  • Switch on the analyzer in Service Mode.
Press and hold the power button. When the version screen appears, press and release the Mode button, then release the power button. The analyzer will start in Service Mode.

  • Navigate to:
Menu > Service Mode > Sound (raw)

  • Observe the values displayed on the screen.
If any value on the top two lines shows 0, this indicates that the helium sensor electronics board may be faulty.

  • For diagnostic purposes, record a short video of the Sound (raw) screen and keep it available for service evaluation.

When to contact service

If the analyzer displays a helium sensor error, produces weak clicking sounds, or shows zero values in the Sound (raw) screen, professional service is required. The electronics board may need replacement.
