Understanding pressure sensor status indicators in Liberty rebreathers
Issue:
Newer pressure sensor models do not display an F indicator during pre-dive checks, unlike older sensor models that did. The F indicator previously confirmed that the sensor had completed its full-range pressure calibration cycle.
Instruction:
This is expected behavior. Newer sensor types continuously monitor and report pressure status in real time, making the separate F confirmation step redundant. You do not need to take any action — your sensor is functioning correctly.
