Solenoid Problems

Diagnosing and fixing solenoid problems in Liberty rebreathers

Issue:
Liberty shows solenoid alarms and warnings, even though the solenoids itself may be  working  just fine.

Instruction:

  1. Check  whether your Liberty FW is up to date, some  false  alarms  has been caused by old detection algorithm (pre 2.17.x FW)
  2. Download all records from both Liberty SD cards. Connect the head via cable (similar to firmware update, but without connecting the handset in the programming connector). The unit should appear as a flash disk on your PC. Send these downloaded files to Divesoft for analysis.
  3. For some solenoid issues, it may be necessary to send head back to Divesoft for technician inspection and repair.
