Downloading Syslogs

Problem description:
Syslogs are essential for diagnosing Liberty technical problems. Sometimes, syslog download fails due to connection issues or corrupted transfers.

Possible causes:

• Bluetooth/USB instability.
• Out of date device firmware.

Step-by-step troubleshooting:

• Prefer using DivesoftApp "Report Issue" feature to download all diagnostic information.
• In case of issues, you can try downloading syslogs using an USB cable.
• Update the device to the latest firmware before retrying syslog download.
• Restart both device and computer, then repeat the download.
• Always capture both syslogs and divelogs for complete diagnostics.

When to contact service: If syslog downloads remain impossible, note the error message, firmware version, and steps already attempted, then send this information along with a service form.
