How to report weird or badly translated texts in the Freedom or Handset UI

Problem description:
Divesoft UI is localized to many languages - CZ, HR, DE, FR, IT, SP. That is thousands of phrases and translations, some may slip up the rigorous check and end up malformed, or mistyped.

How to report bad text:

  1. Summarize all the necessary information so the Divesoft team can fix the issue without needing to ask follow-up questions:
    1. Take a photo, or write down precisely the "wrong" text and where it appears — e.g., dive screen, menu, etc.
    2. Note the current FW version as shown in System Check.
      1. If the DivesoftApp offers a FW update, update first — your issue may already be fixed in the new FW.
    3. Include a proposed correction or alteration of the "wrong" text.
  2. Report the issue through the DivesoftApp "Report Issue" button, or send an email with all the information above to info@divesoft.com.
  3. The Divesoft team will get in touch with you, possibly offering a FW with the fixed text for you to test ahead of the scheduled public release.
